[비욘드포스트 김신 기자] Digital dentistry company gloud said it donated an in-clinic 3D printing set to the dental clinic at Jincheon National Training Center on July 16.
The donated equipment is a JustPrint Pro set, a device that works with gloud's in-clinic 3D printing solution JustScan. Jincheon National Training Center is a facility where national team athletes train and receive medical support ahead of international competitions such as the Olympics and the Asian Games. Through the donation, gloud supported the digitization of the center's dental clinic.
In sports dentistry, demand has been growing for customized devices made from intraoral scan data, including temporary teeth, night guards and splints. Because national team athletes follow tight training and competition schedules, there is a need for environments where such devices can be fabricated on site without visits to outside clinics. South Korea's dental sector has increasingly adopted such scan-to-print digital workflows in recent years.
The JustPrint Pro set consists of a 3D printer, a washing unit and a curing unit. When a clinic sends intraoral scan data through JustScan, the design process begins; JustPrint Pro then prints items such as temporary teeth, inlays and splints on site. Design and printing are completed in-house within 30 minutes to one hour, giving the training center's dental clinic an in-house 3D printing response system.
"We prepared this donation hoping it would be of real help to the training center as it prepares for the Asian Games in September," said Jinwoo Ji, CEO of gloud. "We will continue to support the establishment of digital dental care environments in Korean sports settings," he added.
gloud is a digital dentistry company founded in 2020 in South Korea. Its platform JustScan automates the workflow from intraoral scan to in-clinic 3D printing, enabling same-day prosthetics. As of the first half of 2026, more than 350 dental clinics in Korea use JustScan.
