The simultaneous filings mark a major step in securing global intellectual property (IP) rights for CHALK AI, FirstHabit’s ontology-based learning platform redefines how students learn and teachers teach.
The three patent applications include:
1. Device and Method for Lecture Analysis Using Neural Network
– A technology that leverages neural networks to automatically analyze online lecture data, quantifying factors such as teaching style, delivery patterns, and student engagement to evaluate and enhance instructional quality.
2. Device and Method for Teaching Materials Analysis Using Auto-Encoder
– A system that applies auto-encoders to analyze problem–solution datasets, which automatically identifying concepts that learners missed and recommends personalized remedial lessons.
3. Device and Method for Operating Chatbot Performing Role of Artificial Intelligence Teacher
– An AI-powered chatbot creates a “teacher persona” which is based on real lecture data and guides students through interactive reasoning dialogue with step-by-step hints, envoking the experience of a live instructor.
